new service based on artificial intelligence (AI) has been launched in all adult clinics in the capital. It helps the capital's therapists and general practitioners in making a final diagnosis based on the patient's electronic medical record data for the past two years. The digital doctor's assistant was developed as part of a large-scale collaboration and the unification of the expertise of experienced engineers and highly qualified doctors. Its task is to back up the doctor and offer him a second opinion. This was reported by Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development.
has been launched in all adult malta whatsapp number database clinics in Moscow. This is a service based on artificial intelligence that helps doctors make a final diagnosis by analyzing data from an electronic medical record. Thus, we have moved on to the next stage of implementing smart algorithms: AI not only analyzes current health data - complaints about well-being and recent test results, but also evaluates retrospective information - examination protocols, laboratory and instrumental studies over the past two years. All this allows us to make the most accurate diagnosis," said Anastasia Rakova.
Artificial intelligence does not replace a doctor, but assists him, gives a second opinion if there is a suspicion of one of the 95 serious diseases that require dispensary observation. Among them are diabetes, congestive heart failure and stomach ulcers.
The new module of the system is connected if, while filling out the examination protocol in the unified medical information and analytical system (EMIAS), the therapist decides to give the patient a final diagnosis. At this point, the digital assistant simultaneously analyzes the data of the current protocol, as well as the text data of the electronic medical record with a limitation period of no more than two years, and also forms a diagnosis. If it differs from the one made by the doctor, the system signals this and displays a notification. With its help, the therapist can familiarize himself with the diagnosis made by the digital assistant, agree with it, or make his own. In this case, the final decision is always made by a specialist. If the opinions of the doctor and the digital assistant coincide, the system informs that it supports the specialist in his decision. Currently, the accuracy of the service reaches 87 percent.
In October 2020, a system for supporting medical decision-making was introduced into the work of all adult city polyclinics in Moscow. With the help of a smart assistant, therapists and general practitioners have already made more than 12 million preliminary diagnoses. And thanks to package appointments, which were developed by Moscow doctors and implemented in EMIAS in addition to the preliminary diagnosis module, doctors spend 10 times less time prescribing diagnostics to confirm the choice. The digital service is integrated into EMIAS Moscow.
The capital has been digitalizing its healthcare system for over 10 years. Currently, the basis of this process is a single digital platform, which is being developed by the Moscow Social Development Complex and the capital's Department of Information Technology. It provides personalized care for each patient at all stages - from diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Thanks to the platform, all data on the health of city residents is accumulated in a single digital circuit and is available online to both doctors and patients themselves. The project provides various services for specialists and patients, simplifying their interaction and improving the quality of research and treatment.
