Read the article”: Why nota little more with a slightly more optimized anchor? And finally, what do you think about creating a little more meshing between the sub-pages? Potentially adding in this specific case the previous tutorial and the following tutorial but on a larger scale, adding links to other sub-pages to further strengthen, with nice anchors?
From my point of view, the Semantic Cocoon is close to content siloing. Both are topic clusters, but with a stricter internal mesh. I didn't set up a silo in my example, so I kept it fairly generic with the name topic cluster in the broad sense. I could have also called it Content Hub, Topic Hub, Content cluster. In the end we are talking about the same thing gabon business email list The goal is to share my experience. Otherwise, apart from the term “Topic Cluster”, did you like the article? Tool Advisor November 6, 2020 at 5:39 pm Hello Samuel, Thank you for this (very very) interesting article with figures! I have two questions: In your opinion, is it relevant to directly segment a long article into a topic cluster (or semantic cocoon or content cluster or topic hub) or is it better to wait for feedback (on GSC) to split into a topic cluster? Isn't this likely to harm SEO for a well-positioned topic? How would you assess the "risk" of moving to a topic cluster? Samuel Schmitt November 6, 2020 at 9:42 pm Hello, Thank you for your questions.
Question 1. The advantage of making a long form and then segmenting it is twofold. 1) as you indicate, the GSC data allows you to be very precise at the time of the split. 2) Promotion – a long article is impressive, a WOW effect can take and trigger a cascade of sharing then backlinks. And not to mention the brand image, notoriety, authority resulting. Then it depends on the context. In my case you can understand that this method worked well, I think I will continue to make long articles (the proof) for promotion, and split them later if it makes sense.
Optimize the internal meshing
