of the Russian unified communications market (including corporate telephony, video conferencing, corporate messengers and email solutions). According to the authors of the study, the main trend in the coming years will be the growth of the share of Russian developers, and at an accelerated rate - 33% of the average annual growth rate against 15% on average for the market. The main growth factor will be the active replacement of solutions from foreign vendors that have left Russia, as well as increased requirements for information security from regulators.
that these market growth rates are too optimistic for Russian players. In his opinion, a level of 10-15% looks more realistic.

Sergey Geruk, Product malta whatsapp resource Manager of the digital workspace for collaboration and corporate communication Squadus, LLC "New Cloud Technologies", agreed with the estimate of the market volume at 81 billion rubles by the end of 2023, but called the growth rate unrealistic for the entire period up to 2028: "The growth will be in the first two years - essentially, now, during the period of import substitution. We expect that the corporate segment will also be spurred by the recent announcement of the final departure of Microsoft cloud services from the Russian market. Some signed long-term contracts back in 2022-2023, some could renew their subscriptions through "gray" channels, but in any case, all these licenses will expire in 2025."

As a result, already in 2024, J'son & Partners Consulting predicts that the shares of Russian and foreign videoconferencing systems will be equal, while in 2023, domestic solutions occupied only 45% of the market. By 2028, according to J'son & Partners Consulting forecasts, the share of Russian videoconferencing systems will exceed 90%.

Deputy Director and co-founder of Vinteo Dmitry Seryi drew attention to the significant difference in the level of import substitution in the public and commercial sectors: "According to our estimates, the level of import substitution of VKS in the public sector is about 60%, in the segment of commercial customers - up to 30-40%."

The leaders of the Russian market, according to the authors of the study, are IVA Technologies, Vinteo and TrueConf. The analysts particularly highlight IVA Technologies, which is developing product ecosystems that, in addition to videoconferencing, include IP telephony, corporate messengers and mail servers.

However, an anonymous source in the market noted that the ratings take into account not only the supply of software for video conferencing, but also various equipment for conference rooms and meeting rooms, integration services, which does not reflect the real balance of power.

Dmitry Shulga also believes that corporate communications are not only videoconferencing and not only software: there is also telephony, mail services, messengers, and equipment. "If we talk about the market of videoconferencing software - that is, about vendors that independently develop products for videoconferencing, then there are five main players: VideoMost, Trueconf, IVA, Vinteo, Kontur and 10-15 other developers, including IT departments of banks, which often take open source software and only change the interface," the expert explained.
