How will digital assistant devices change our lives?

Post by ishanijerin1 »

Amazon Echo Show announced!
The Amazon Echo Show is a new addition to the Amazon Echo series, which has been a hot topic mainly in the U.S. As we mentioned in our blog the other day , a digital assistant device that can be seen has finally been added to the series, which has already shipped over 30 million units.

Looking at this video, which is tailored for consumer use, it seems like it's just one step towards making smart homes a reality. However, if Alexa learns the technology to identify individual voiceprints (apparently called "Voice ID" by Amazon) that Time magazine reported on , and its use in business accelerates, the advertising database worldview of the movie Minority Report or The Matrix may not be so far away in the future.

So, what if we applied the "Amazon Echo Show" to these business uses? I came up with three ideas! (Below)

What about using it in train station ticket vending machines? There seems to be room for improvement in accessibility when considering use by elementary school children who cannot yet read kanji, elderly people who find it difficult to look up at route maps or operate touch panels with small characters, and foreign tourists, whose numbers are expected to increase dramatically in 2020, the year of the Tokyo Olympics.

That's where the "Amazon Echo Show" comes in! "When you tell the customer your destination in front of the ticket machine, the route and fare will be shown to you by voice and on the screen. Then all you have to do is insert the money and have the ticket issued. Of course, it supports foreign languages." If this kind of thing could be realized, customers might be very happy.
