During the interview, general questions are asked to understand the client's worldview (for example: what brings joy to life? What disappoints?), questions about the product (for example: what banking services do you know? How do you feel about advertising banking products?), questions about how the client uses the product (for example, how do you use the bank's app?).

The task is to understand the client's motivation and selection criteria. To do this, you need to ask for examples of product use from life, ask open questions, i.e. those that cannot be answered with a clear "yes" or "no". Based on the information received, create a portrait of each interviewed person for a more detailed analysis.

The answers should clarify what values ​​need to be conveyed (for example, one consumer pays attention to interest rates when choosing a bank, another to reliability) and, accordingly, what emotions to italy consumer email list work with and what offers and what content to offer to each group of potential clients.

How to create a portrait of your target audience
A client portrait is a description of a client with all important characteristics: from the basic ones - socio-demographic, geography, profession, to interests, psychological and specific features.


Here are examples of two types of customer portraits for different product categories with a little explanation.

Example 1. General portrait for an online clothing store:
Women and men aged 18 to 55. They all have a need for clothing.
Live in large cities or agglomerations with a population of over 1 million people. Geolocation is important for determining the best delivery and payment methods, as well as for understanding customer preferences depending on the region. For example, certain clothing styles or sizes may be more popular in some regions, which must be taken into account when forming the assortment.
