On November 5, four experimental satellites (cubesats) developed and launched into orbit under the Space-π program were launched from the Vostochny Cosmodrome in the Amur Region. Among them is the cubesat of the St. Petersburg University of Telecommunications SIT-HSE. All spacecraft have been accepted for control.
The device is designed to test the honduras whatsapp resourceInternet of Things technology based on the LORA protocol, as well as to conduct Earth surveys. The device weighs 3.2 kg, call sign - RC2336.
During this time, SPbSUT students will be able to participate in experiments and analyze the results of its work. The development of the Internet of Things technology will open up new opportunities for various industries: housing and communal services, transport, agriculture, industry, and the organization of communications with remote areas.
The small spacecraft was created on the basis of the Sputniks satellite platform of the 3U CubeSat standard and was transferred to the St. Petersburg University of Telecommunications for research.
The satellites were launched by the Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle with the Fregat upper stage as part of the mission to launch the Ionosfera-M No. 1 and No. 2 satellites.
"Our CubeSat, in addition to testing the Internet of Things technology, will be able to monitor the flights of drones weighing up to 30 kg and agrodrones weighing up to 100 kg," noted the rector of SPbSUT Ruslan Kirichek.
Before the launch, the SPbSUT CubeSat was at the Vostochny Cosmodrome and underwent final checks. After that, the launch containers with the satellites were integrated onto the launch vehicle.
