SAP, the software specialist for enterprises, is becoming a strategic investor in the online video company Tremor Media. With its stake in the New York-based company, SAP hopes to activate architect data and accelerate the development of Tremor Media's products.
Tremor Media is the creator of the Acudeo platform, which the company claims is the leading online video marketing platform and the leading video network in the online advertising market, according to the company. With this joint venture, SAP and Tremor Media hope to develop scalable technology solutions for media companies.
Tremor Media was founded in 2005 in New York and began its European expansion in September 2008 with the opening of offices in Germany and the UK. Tremor Media Europe is managed by Christian Baudis.
