Series about artificial intelligence are a hit every time they are presented on any streaming platform: Netflix, HBO, Amazon Prime… They are all full of arguments about technological evolution and alternative futures. Among these series that are so successful are dystopias, where a possible near future shows us the worst side of evolution and the human being. Not all of them are so unflattering.
What is clear is that plots involving an adverse technological future have been part of TV series for many years now, before the appearance of platforms such as Netflix in our country. Here is a summary of some of them:

Starring Agathe Bonitzer, Hugo Becker and Gaël Kamilindi, and created by Audrey Fouché, this 8-episode French science fiction series premiered this year on Netflix to rave reviews from audiences.

In a future where human minds are digitized and can be transferred from one body to another, the richest man on earth is murdered. To investigate his death, a former soldier is brought back to life 250 years later to investigate the tycoon's death with profound implications.
The first season consists of ten episodes and premiered on Netflix on February 2, 2018. Following its success, it was renewed for a second season that is still expected to be released later this year or early 2020.

4. Westworld (HBO)

The Hawking family acquires one to help them with household chores, but they discover that sharing their life with a machine has some peculiar and disturbing consequences.
Released in 2015 and with 3 seasons behind it, Humans has not managed to renew for a fourth season.
