Twitch hasn't been a particularly advertising-heavy channel to date, but it looks like we'll soon be seeing a lot more ads on the platform. The Amazon subsidiary has a new advertising incentive program in the works for streamers that will almost certainly increase the number of ads that make their way onto the channel.

Each streamer will be presented with a personalized offer, specifically tailored to the characteristics of their channel. An example of a personalized offer would be the possibility of receiving a monthly incentive of $500 for broadcasting 2 minutes of advertising every hour and committing to broadcasting 40 hours each month. This incentive would rise to $800 if the streamer decided to accommodate 3 minutes of advertising every hour and up to $1,000 if they opted for 4 minutes of advertising every 60 minutes.
