Civil Law specialist Karelin Trejo recommends following these steps if you want to know how to set up a company here in Mexico:

Define what type of business company you are going to create . Companies are distinguished, among other things, by the way they respond to third parties; some may be based on the company's assets and reach the partner's assets, or they may be limited in amount.
Process a notarized document number data before a notary public or public broker . That is, process the articles of incorporation of your company where the obligations and rights of the partners, as well as the legal representative of the company, are detailed.
Define your bylaws very well. This is nothing more than the official guide of how your company will operate and is included in your articles of incorporation. The corporate purpose of your company will detail in detail what it will do, what type of products or services it will sell and what its scope will be. They should be as clear as possible and contain the real activities of what your company does.
Tip: The bylaws can always be modified if your business changes, but you will have to do it again before the notary and detail the changes in order not to incur in errors.
Register with the SAT to obtain your company's RFC . This way you can issue invoices in the name of your company and, when the time comes, file your annual tax return.
Registration with the Public Registry of Property and Commerce .
Employer registration with the IMSS . This will allow you to offer your employees social security benefits.
Open a business bank account. You can do this at the bank of your choice and doing so allows you to have access to business loans, tax payments, payroll payments and other benefits according to the financial institution you choose.
Note: It may take approximately 3 to 6 months to complete the process.
