Post by rabia198 »

Nacho Bermón graduated in Business Administration and specialized in digital marketing, so it's no surprise that he's combined his knowledge to launch his own digital project, Nomadart, an e-commerce site where you can rent works of art for your home and office. We tell you the details of his story in the following interview.

You graduated with a degree in business management and administration, but soon began training in digital marketing. How did your interest in the online world begin?
Exactly, I've always had the desire to become an entrepreneur and start my own business. That's why I decided to study Business Administration, which gives you a very good overview of the aspects you need to consider for the daily, short- and long-term management of a company. When I was finishing my degree, it coincided with the boom in digital transformation. I saw businesses canada mobile database creating their corporate websites or e-commerce sites to sell their products online, and although at the time I was still somewhat reluctant to believe that e-commerce would capture such a large audience, little by little I realized the great alternative this type of commerce offered. It appealed to me so much that I decided to focus on digital marketing and online sales strategies.

In 2013, you started working as a marketing assistant at La Casa de los Cuadros. What did you learn in this position?
Well, I really learned a lot. I graduated, and it was my father, who owns a family framing business that's been around for over 60 years, who suggested I create an e-commerce business from scratch for his business, in a sector that wasn't particularly well-established in the digital world. I was so intrigued that I spent over a year and a half creating the entire project from scratch, achieving very good results, which was very rewarding. During that time, I learned about aspects as unusual for me as product photography, graphic design, CMS management, content marketing, and so on, taking short courses while we worked on the project. Although I wasn't yet fully trained in this field, I liked it so much that it opened my eyes. Digital marketing would be what I would focus on from that moment on.

You then moved to London for a while. Why did you make this decision, and what did the experience bring you?
Basically, because I felt the need to see the world, to live in a big capital, and yes, to learn English, haha. The experience was extremely enriching. I worked at a famous London restaurant chain for almost two years. I met people from all over the world, open-minded people who lived life for the day and improved through life experiences. I think I took advantage of that time to learn a lot about everything, although I never lost my vision and dedicated part of my time to creating a lifestyle blog called Okaymood, which allowed me to fully immerse myself in the world of content, which I believe is extremely important for any digital business that wants to prosper.
