I also created a version of the "close friends of women celebrating birthdays" campaign to compare the performance of the two segments. It followed the exact same guidelines as the previous campaign, but targeted women's fashion items. Splitting the campaign in this way helped control costs independently, create custom copy and images, and track performance.

How did it go? It seems to have been a huge success.
After spending just over £200 on each segment, "close friends of men celebrating their birthday" are generating £8.24 CPA from AddToCarts and £16.50 CAC from Purchases. This is well below our ideal of €100.

Interestingly, "close friends of women" aren't seeing the same chinese malaysia data traction, with £50 in AddToCarts and a single purchase. However, we'll continue this test a bit longer to see if performance increases with some optimization.KEY TAKEAWAYS
