Post by suchona.kani.z »

Children in the 21st century are experiencing difficult times:

40% experienced bullying in elementary school (source: Czech Radio )
The incidence of self-harm among adolescents reaches up to 60% (source: psychiatriepropraxi.cz )
In 2011 alone, over 800 children were sexually abused, 190 of them by their father or mother's partner. (source: Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs )
How does this relate to online marketing? Thanks to marketing, you can offer all these children help . There are non-profit organizations that offer children help over the phone. One such organization is the Children's Crisis Center (DKC). By the way: In the first half of this year, only one child abused the helpline.

How to raise awareness on social media
The worst thing that children who are experiencing problems can do overseas chinese in europe data is stay alone. Together with the Children's Crisis Center, we prepared an awareness campaign to introduce children to the crisis line. A professional on the other end will listen to them and help them find a solution to the situation. The center also offers follow-up therapeutic care for children and their families.

In addition to introducing the crisis line, the goal was also to illustrate what abuse can look like and when children can contact the help line.

We know that children are commonly on social networks, and even on Facebook, where they are officially not allowed to do anything until they are 13. The truth is, however, that children often cheat with age . That is why the choice clearly fell on Facebook.

Logically, the campaign should target children from 13 to 18 years old. But we know tricks from children, so we targeted it up to 20 years old . The ads were shown on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and in apps.

Where did the campaign run?

The comic shows children that they are not alone
A while ago, the Children's Crisis Center published flyers with a comic strip that shows common children's troubles - from bullying by a classmate, to anorexia or blackmail on messenger. The comic strip is interesting in terms of graphics and also manages to capture the thoughts of the characters very well. The goal was to point out that they are not alone in finding solutions and that they can turn to someone anonymously for help.
