If you can't find your game in the default Steam folder, you may have installed or moved the game files to another directory. In this case, proceed to Solution 3 in this guide to manually add the game to Steam.

2. Start the game download process so that Steam recognizes the game.
If Steam can't detect your installed game files even though they're in the right location, here's how you can force Steam to recognize them.

Step 1: Open the Steam client and find the missing game. Then click the "Add to Library" button.

Once Steam begins the download process, it will detect the existing game files and your game should appear in the Library tab as installed.

3. Add the game manually using Steam Storage Manager.
