If you don't like your Windows 11 laptop or PC turning off the screen every time you leave, you can turn off presence detection as follows:
Open Settings Windows+I and go to System > Power & Battery . Note: If you're using a mini PC with a presence sensor , you'll need to go to System > Power instead .
You'll see all the power and battery settings available for your Windows 11 laptop latvia telegram data or PC. Click or tap Screen, sleep, and hibernation timeouts to expand this section and see additional settings.
Expand Screen, Sleep, and Hibernate Timeouts
Scroll down the list of settings until you find the toggles for:

Turn off the screen when I leave : Set this option to Off if you don't want Presence sensing to check when you walk away from your PC, turn off the display, and lock your Windows 11 PC.
Wake my device when I get close . Set this option to Off if you don’t want your Windows 11 laptop or PC to check when you’re getting close and turn on the display. Personally, I like this option turned on, but you may want it different.
Dim the screen when I look away : If you don’t want your screen to dim every time you look away, turn this switch off, too . This is another setting I like to leave on because it helps my laptop’s battery life.
