Mexico City and Nuevo Leon have been fighting for the first place position. In previous years, we were surprised that Jalisco was not higher (in 2013 it was in sixth place), but this time it is already in close third place. Sinaloa, as in 2013, appears as the state with the lowest salaries for software professionals. We are a little surprised because software development centers have been opened in this region in recent years, and it seems that salaries have not been favored by this.
Type of company and scheme
Table 4 shows the breakdown of participants according to the type of organization afghanistan phone number data they work for. As was the case a year ago, startups are the ones reporting the highest gross salaries. This seems to be a peculiarity in our region, where startup employees focus more on salary than on having ownership stake. In the case of outsourcing companies vs. user areas, the former have a higher median, but the latter have a higher average. We assume that this is because in user areas there are typically more hierarchical levels than in outsourcing companies, which seek to have more horizontal structures.
Table 4. Type of company.
On the other hand, Table 5 shows the most popular compensation schemes among participants. Although the majority (66%) continue to use a payroll scheme, the mixed or hybrid scheme (part payroll and part fees) is increasingly used.
