Step 2: In the Settings window, make sure the System tab is selected.


Step 4: Under Advanced startup options, click Restart now .



Step 5: Confirm by clicking the Restart button in the window that appears.



Step 6: After restarting, select Troubleshoot from the options provided.



Step 7: Click on “Advanced Options” .



Step 8: Select Startup Repair to begin the recovery process.



Your system will reboot and attempt to automatically diagnose and fix problems. Follow any on-screen instructions that appear.

4. Perform a clean boot and factory reset.
Performing a clean boot can clear out software conflicts that may be causing the reset error.
