The Twilio API for WhatsApp also comes out-of-the-box with Studio , Twilio’s visual app builder for communications. Anyone can use its drag-and-drop interface to design and customize messaging experiences for WhatsApp.

Availability
WhatsApp currently controls the number of new apps that go live, but the Twilio Sandbox for WhatsApp is available today so you can start building and testing your apps. When you want to go live, you’ll need to get a WhatsApp Business profile. WhatsApp is gradually onboarding businesses in the early stages to ensure a great experience for users and businesses.

Get started with Twilio Sandbox for WhatsApp
You can start testing the API with the Twilio Sandbox for philippines mobile number example WhatsApp. It offers a limited implementation that allows you to pass pre-approved numbers from a shared WhatsApp profile. You will need to verify these numbers in the Twilio console.

Once you’re ready to go live, you can request access to your own WhatsApp Business profile from the Twilio Console. This will give you a dedicated Twilio number enabled for WhatsApp. Twilio will review your request with WhatsApp and communicate next steps. When using SMS for phone number verification or two-factor authentication (2FA), getting the message to the recipient quickly is critical to maximizing conversion. However, there are many variables that go into ensuring reliable and fast message delivery globally. Some routes are faster than others, some destinations only allow messages from specific types of numbers, and carriers often filter out repeated messages as spam.

Setting up efficient and reliable SMS delivery can be complex and will likely require ongoing maintenance. That’s why Twilio offers two pre-built APIs, Verify and Authy, that eliminate the need for developers to verify that your authentication and verification SMS messages are delivered quickly and consistently to their intended recipients.

As part of our continued improvements to these APIs, we are announcing the launch of AUTHMSG, an alphanumeric sender that can be used in 79 countries to further increase conversions in the future. If you are already using these APIs, this change will take effect automatically.
