Which notebook do you think kids or their parents would choose

Post by Rina7RS »

Imagine if you produced a notebook specifically targeted at young children – it had larger lines, a layout that was easier for beginners to use, etc. How would you indicate to the kidsparents that this was a product meant for them? If it was a plain black or white cover with little to no design, it probably wouldn’t be picked off the shelf by that particular market, because how would those kids and their parents know that this product was made just for them? Sure, you might write it nicely somewhere on the packaging, but would they pick it out from the huge lineup when browsing the stationary aisle? Probably not.

Thinking it was marketed towards them? A little intentional algeria mobile database design can go a long way. Image via Officeworks.

This is when design comes in as a super useful communication tool. Design is able to communicate who an object is made for, and therefore appeal to those exact people. In this way, design can act as a universal language, signaling subconsciously to consumers who this product is made for, who benefits from it, etc. Making your product as recognisable as possible can also make it smoother for your consumers to use it.

Going one step further than the physical design is the technical aspect of the design. Dig deep into your target market and figure out the best way to appeal to them on a technical level. Find out what browser or screen resolution they use, what type of packaging would work best for them, or what their price range is, etc.
