I will focus on the platforms that I consider

Post by sujonkumar6300 »

In one of my previous articles on Software Guru I talked about hardware tools and platforms to get started in the world of IoT. This time I will talk about software platforms that are used to manage and communicate IoT devices with each other.

Be the simplest and that do not require much knowledge of programming, databases or communication protocols. These types of platforms are typically aimed at students as well as enthusiasts (hobbyists) and consumers in general. That is why I will leave aside more powerful and sophisticated platforms such as Microsoft's Azure IoT Hub, AWS IoT and Google Cloud IoT, among others.

IFTTT
IFTTT is a free web service that makes it easy to connect various apps and devices armenia consumer email list using recipes (called applets).

Recipes follow the format “if this happens, then do this.” In fact, that’s where the name IFTTT comes from, which stands for “if this then that.” So basically you choose what event you want to detect and what action you want to take as a result.

Originally, the service was mostly used to connect actions between software applications – for example, when you upload a video to YouTube it will automatically post to Facebook or Twitter. However, IFTTT now supports a wide variety of IoT services and devices including home appliances, wearables, business applications and even transportation services.
