Before you start developing the steps we list below, it is important that you remember, as in any content production process, to think about your end user: who they are, what they are like, what they need, what problem they have, how you can help them solve it, and the role of infographics in that process.
Choose a topic
Once you have defined your goal, it is time to choose a topic that aligns with that goal.
It is important that the chosen topic hospital contact list is current or popular on social networks to facilitate the reach of the content, level of engagement and shares .
Take advantage of conversations taking place on social media related to important news or dates.
Research and gather information
Read, research and gather as much information as possible on the chosen topic. It is important to know the approach that other sites have taken to the same topic, their approaches and formats.
There is never too much information. The more input you have, the more complete and valuable the result will be . Don't forget to validate the information and give credit where appropriate.
Determine an approach
A topic can be very broad, it is our job to select and organize the most important data to develop the infographic.
By knowing our user and their problem well, we will know which approach is most convenient to satisfy their need.
It is vital that you know how to discard unnecessary or excess information so that organizing all the content collected in the previous step does not become a headache.
Look for references and create a draft
Just as researching the content of the infographic is important, so is searching for visual references.
Note: This is not about copying the approach and design of other infographics, but rather about looking for input and good practices that inspire us to find our own concept.
At this stage we realize that we may need to refine the information further, what points we should highlight, what we should go into more depth and how.
It is beginning to be clear which graphic resources are most appropriate for displaying the content .
