Advisor to the head of the Ukrainian president's office Mykhailo Podolyak hoped that Donald Trump, after a conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, would not want to negotiate and would begin arming Kyiv.
“Obviously, when Trump talks to Putin, it makes no difference whether it is a telephone conversation or some other format, at that moment it will become clear to him that there is no point in agreeing on anything with the Russian Federation, at least during Putin’s time,” Podolyak said.
He hoped that in return Trump would want to “add Ukraine’s ability to inflict militaristic defeats on Russia in certain directions.” Podolyak believes that Trump should allow an increase or scale-up of strikes on Russian territory.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that gambling data taiwan Zelensky was ready to make a deal to resolve the conflict with Russia. According to the politician, he will understand the possible timeframe for ending the conflict only after a conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, which could take place "very soon."
