Target audience definition can be done for a brand, a company on a global level, and for the sale of products or services.

Establishing the profile of those who might buy from your company should be the first action within your marketing and sales strategy. It is a more comprehensive concept, as it visualizes the profile of your buyers in the following way:

Unlike the target audience, PICs, when well defined, help the company's marketing and sales strategies to be executed assertively.

Once you have the information about the PICs in hand, you can develop prospecting strategies, scripts, communication materials and an active approach with leads.

To help define who the PICs are in your company, it is worth using some resources, such as applying a questionnaire or simply calling the group of your best customers.

This contact will be important to help identify relevant characteristics that can help.

After that, just compile the data and identify the characteristics that are most expressed.

Then, just choose a model from a tool of your choice and share it with everyone on the team.
