The Concern "Radioelectronic Technologies" (KRET) of the state corporation "Rostec" will install modern ultra-fast charging stations (UBZS) "FORA" in the south of Moscow. UBZS of this type will be used in the capital for the first time and will appear at the transport hub near the metro station "Varshavskaya". "FORA" will ensure the uninterrupted operation of public transport on city routes.
Ultra-fast charging stations "FORA" for urban transport are manufactured by the State Ryazan Instrument Plant (GRPZ), which is part of KRET. The capacity of the UBZS is 300 kW, they are vandal-proof and can operate at temperatures from -40 °C to +40 °C. The service life of electric charging stations is at least 15 years. The sweden whatsapp resourceequipment is equipped with forced ventilation and fire extinguishing systems, as well as a lock against unauthorized access. Additionally, protection against impulse overvoltage, lightning protection, and insulation control are provided.
infrastructure is one of the strategic objectives of Rostec. The state corporation's enterprises produce both electric buses and charging stations. Our specialists are currently developing a program to create a federal network of stations taking into account the needs of electric transport owners, which includes the creation of hubs for charging electric vehicles throughout Russia. It was KRET, which is part of Rostec, that was the first in our country to begin producing domestic UBZS. Today, the concern's charging stations have been installed in many Russian cities, including Moscow, but our UBZS for electric buses will appear in the capital's urban transport system for the first time. We are ready to further expand cooperation with city authorities in this area," said Rostec Executive Director Oleg Yevtushenko.
KRET has been serially producing FORA charging stations since 2014, focusing on solving problems related to the active creation, development and expansion of charging infrastructure throughout the country.
"Over the past two years, the demand for electric charging stations in Russia has grown several times, including for public transport. The development of environmentally friendly and modern urban transport networks requires reliable infrastructure, and KRET is ready to help solve this problem," said Alexey Melnikov, Deputy General Director for the Development of Civil Products and National Projects at KRET.
As of July 2024, more than 250 AC and DC stations manufactured by GRPZ have been installed in Russia. As part of the project "Development and serial production of electric charging stations for electric transport", the enterprise is undergoing reconstruction and technical re-equipment, introducing modern equipment, and launching new production capacities.
