All over the world, the race against time is accelerating.

In the states hit by the pandemic, political power has replaced economic power: whatever the cost, strategic choices have been oriented towards the preservation of human life. In relay, healthcare personnel have mobilized in a just-in-time manner (human resources, medicines, materials and consumables) at the risk of their lives. Then, the citizens of the world have ensured the activities essential to the life of the nation: in agriculture, the industries concerned, transport (goods and people), financial institutions, etc. All have had to deal with substantial shortages of labor and supplies, reinventing innovative and efficient processes.

Cooperation between nurse database international partners has supplanted past economic tensions. Now the relocation to domestic production markets that were previously not very critical, the global expansion of supplier panels, the flexibility of hospital resources, the relaxation of administrative constraints (authorizations, customs procedures, etc.), the mobilization of military and transport resources as well as the imperative requirement for traceability are on the agenda.

Communication then took on its full meaning: analyzing data, designing innovative information systems, explaining planned action plans, respecting commitments, reacting in real time, reassuring multiple stakeholders and supporting change.

What lessons will we have learned from managing this unprecedented crisis? Among the solutions adopted, which ones can we perpetuate in order to transform our way of approaching the Supply Chain, logistics and purchasing in the future? New paradigms, certainly.
