The health crisis has wreaked havoc on the labour market and has shown that many companies and workers still do not have the digital skills to meet the needs of today's industries, which demand technological specialists. This last statement is one of the conclusions of 'Future of Work', a report commissioned by Google and prepared by McKinsey on the impact of automation on employment in the European labour market.
This study shows that, in 2030, despite the loss of jobs, we will face a shortage of workers in certain areas that will require digital skills. This difference between having or not having these skills could lead to a shortage of up to six million workers in Europe .
An increase in digital and technological skills can therefore lead to a higher phone data employment rate, especially in relation to information technology, computer programming and data analysis.
