My adventure with WG24
A Brazilian colleague, Marcelo Pessoa, a member of WG24, who knew MoProSoft, asked us if we could send the Mexican standard to be reviewed by the group.
we presented MoProSoft, EvalProSoft and the results of Controlled Testing at the Workshop on Process Improvement in Small Settings convened by the Software Engineering argentina phone number data Institute (SEI) at its headquarters in Pittsburgh. At this event we met Claude Laporte from Canada, editor of WG24, who again insisted that we present MoProSoft to the group.
In May 2006, the Mexican delegation attended the ISO/IEC JTC1 SC7 Software and System Engineering plenary meeting in Thailand for the first time to present MoProSoft to the WG24. The formal presentation was given by Ana Isabel Vázquez Urbina and, to our great surprise, in a unanimous vote the representatives of Thailand, USA, India, Ireland, Belgium, Finland, Luxembourg, Canada, New Zealand and Korea decided to use the Mexican standard as a basis for their work. Jorge Palacios recorded a video documenting this event [1].
It just so happened that in October 2005
