How to Enable Power Saving in Windows 11
You can manually enable power saver on any Windows 11 device, including laptops, 2-in-1s, and even desktops without a battery. The first step to enable it is to click or tap the battery status icon on the right side of the Windows 11 taskbar to open the quick settings . Then click or tap the Power saver icon to turn it on.


If you're using a desktop PC and don't see the battery status icon on the taskbar, you can also click or tap the Network or Speakers icon to open Quick Settings . On devices with a battery, Energy Saver appears on the first page of Quick Settings . On a desktop PC, you'll usually find it on the second page.
