There are two meetings of JTC1/SC7 per year: a “plenary” meeting and an “interim” meeting. Resolutions are taken only at the plenary meetings. The next meeting is a plenary meeting and will be held in New Delhi, India in May 2018.
ISO documents are written in British English; they must contain “enough” examples and any figures bahamas consumer email list introduced must be accompanied by “sufficiently” explanatory text.
Each working group includes a group of delegates from various countries, is coordinated by a convener, and may eventually partially involve independent organizations (liaisons).
After five years of publication, standards must be reviewed. Countries explain whether and how they have used them during that time, and based on this, they are either improved slightly, removed from circulation, or “something in between.”
It is quite common for Technical Reports to become ISO/IEC standards.
