After a break last year, the annual Google Marketing

Post by Reddi2 »

Keynote took place again on Thursday. Once again, Google presented its plans for next year and beyond - and once again we present the summary here.

As usual, this year's keynote was held by various (Vice) Presidents and Directors, who presented some innovations from their areas in short (recorded) segments.

As usual, the marketing keynote was dominated by marketing for the company's own benefit. I wouldn't describe every segment as relevant, especially since many innovations that had been introduced in the last year were celebrated.

And as usual, the following list of relevant information from the keynote is completely subjective.

1 | Performance Max campaigns

This campaign type is intended to complement search [bangladesh phone number data campaigns and enable performance-based advertising across all Google platforms. There weren't many details about it, so I would refer you to the original announcement last fall .

Assessment: You can probably expect largely automated advertising based on broad targeting, ad assets and smart bidding. I doubt whether the announced transparency goes beyond a list of striking individual aspects (top assets, most important target group, etc.), but I'm happy to be positively surprised.

Time horizon: “look out for that full launch later this year”

2 | Privacy

There was nothing really new on that front. Google reiterated its promise that it will not develop new technology to track individual users after the end of cookies. Otherwise, please use automation and machine learning wherever possible.

Assessment: This segment must be included, even if it does not offer any added value for Google's advertising customers. Ultimately, it can be said that anyone who works with Google or similarly large platforms will be presented with the right solutions here.
