Post by rabia198 »

Have you ever wondered why looking at certain colors can trigger feelings such as joy, confidence, peace, tranquility, euphoria and even physical sensations such as hunger or thirst? Perhaps as you read this, your memory is recalling some of these moments. Well, you have already been introduced, albeit unconsciously, to the psychology of colors.

It is scientifically proven that colors have the power to change people's moods. They can change their mood, awaken desire or even aversion to something. Especially in the business world, it is not only rationality that gives the command to move towards the target of desire. Emotions count a lot.

The big challenge is to combine the ability of colors to trigger our feelings with the correct choice for each of their applications. There is no hong kong email list pre-established instruction manual, after all, we have many more feelings than the colors of the most varied palettes would be able to exemplify. Furthermore, the same color can nurture different emotions in different people.

And it is precisely at this crucial point, which for many may seem like a high-traffic highway with several exit alternatives without any signage, that strategic design comes in as a kind of guide that knows each of the exits. Not through intuition, but through studies that lead to an understanding of the meaning of colors.

Thus, consciously, colors can be used efficiently to convey the brand's message, whether to win over, retain or build customer or partner loyalty. Or even to establish itself in an increasingly competitive market that requires standing out in order to obtain better financial results.

And when we talk about “study” we really mean understanding the relationship between colors and feelings and understanding that the intertwining of both has much more to do with experiences that are rooted – whether in our language or thought – than just a personal taste, as Eva Heller teaches us (HELLER, 2000).
