Fabio’s favorite gift was this pair of ridiculous Yankee slippers.

After dinner it was time for presents!

It’s so fun to watch my sister and little cousin Sean open gifts; they are still at that age dataset where presents are the-best-thing-ever and just get so, so excited.

So cute!
My family got me a ton of nice gifts, including some beautiful jewelry/accessories from Arizona (where my aunt and uncle live) and a really nice sweater from Brook’s Brothers.

How cute are those?!
The dogs got to enjoy some gifts too.

Eventually it was time to leave my Grandparents’ house and head over to my Dad’s house to wait for Santa. Even though my sister stopped believing in Santa this year (wahhh!!) we still had a lot of fun together on Christmas Eve. As soon as we got home, we all changed into Christmas jammies with fuzzy socks. Fabio broke out the new slippers!

Then Fabio made me a delicious glass of boozy egnogg, which I sipped while snuggling on the couch watching Elf!

I literally can’t think of a better way to spend Christmas Eve. Then it was time for bed!
Christmas Day
Before we knew it, it was Christmas morning! My sister woke us all up pretty early, and she was the first one down the stairs to see what gifts she got.

So many presents!

First we opened the stocking for the dogs, which each included a candy-cane shaped bone. Needless to say, they were happy.

Then we all went around the room opening tons of gifts! My sister got a bunch of toys, I got a lot of new winter workout gear (YES!) and Fabio got a bottle of tequlia and a nice sweater from J. Crew, among other things. My sister and I each also got a Pandora bracelet with a few charms on it, which I’m loving. We both got one that says “Sisters” on it, which I think is so sweet. What a great Christmas!

After we tore through all the presents it was time for breakfast – cinamon rolls, sausage, and turkey bacon. Fabio also wound up cooking some eggs for those that wanted some. Served with bloody marys on the side!

around and relaxing, before we headed over to my mom’s house to get ready for Jamaica. I’ll be back to recap my trip next week!
Question of the day: What are your holiday traditions?
We always go over to my Grandparents’ house on Christmas Eve to open presents from the family. We usually go to church as well to watch the kid’s Christmas pageant, but this year they held it on a different day. Boo!
