Evidently more to this BNP than meets the eye. In addition, there was something subtle about his behavior that made me uncomfortable; so I did not hesitate to ignore his advice. He showed the way to the train station after this very informative shopping tour. His final comments concerned the Bible. I asked if the Bible is still a reliable guide today. He responded that it is, especially the New Testament.
The next day I contacted "W Press"; and Review/Noontide had told me to call. The man I spoke to gave me the name and address of the BNP book service in Welling, Kent. It was about half an hour by phone number list train from London. All I really had was the P.O. Box number in Welling. He told me to go to the post office and that they would give me the address. He then offered to call me back with the information, but I did not identify myself. It soon became evident that the BNP was the British National Party, a racist group active in England.
I decided that before going to the BNP in Kent, I would test "The H Bookshop" Noontide said carried some of their books. I went there and found one new title: Cross of Iron published by Noontide. Now I was certain that Noontide was authentic. The operator of the shop was suspicious and unhelpful; he did not like talking about Noontide and refused to let me see the Noontide catalogue. It was mainly a second-hand bookstore, specializing in military history. It was apparently of little interest. I was a bit skeptical, but decided that Noontide was to be trusted and so I went to Kent by train. Welling is a pleasant suburb of London.
